Cone collection in North America 1976 and 78

Mike Phillips (Newton) as part of his work role visited the west coast of Northern USA and also parts of British Columbia in 1976 and 1978. He tells the story in the attched PDF of the journeys and adventures in securing collections of cones.

The Genetics Branch collection team led by Alan Fletcher consited of Mike and also Patrick Cahalan (Student Aberdeen University) with Colin McLean joining them in 1978.
