Bogged Lokomo at Tomnavoulin

Photograph courtesy of Will Anderson, Seafield & Strathspey Estates.

Will Comments:
‘Another Lokomo 910 on the Crown Estate, taken just outside Tomnavoulin in October 1994 while we were felling a strip of roadside South Coastal Lodgepole which continually blew over the road (hence the stop/go board). As can be seen, this was quite a deep peat site and parts of it were raised bog. We went on to clearfell the majority of it in about 1997, I think, and it is now regenerating nicely with birch and the odd Lodgepole!’
