Newton Nursery open day 1981

Open day in 1981 celebrating the 50th anniversary since the forest nursery was started.

The room which served as a ‘canteen’ for the nursery workers has been turned into an information and display room for the visiting parties. Standing in front of the counter is (1) Sandy Mackintosh, Nursery Head Forester and behind the counter (2) Lesley Hutcheson
and (3) Myra Younie, Laich of Moray admin staff.
