Bill McCook Planting at Monaughty Forest

Bill McCook is seen here planting Sitka spruce on a felled site at Monaughty Forest. The leached soil has been ploughed up (possibly with a large D7 tractor and tine plough) and Bill is inserting the young tree into the soil so that its roots are in or close to the covered organic surface layer.
