Mounding for replanting at Fetteresso

Mounding with tracked excavator and V bucket in Fetteresso Forest. Name of contractor and machine type unknown but mounds for replanting the new trees into can be seen dotted over the site in amongst the brash. The soil in the mound is raised a little above the ground level and is as a consequence a little warmer and drier thus giving the newly planted tree a better chance of survival and good growth start.
