Glentress Forester Training School circa 1952

Photograph is part of Bill Stoddart’s collection of images taken when he was a lecturer at several Forester Training Schools. The photographs were handed in by his daughter Lilian Allan at the Forestry Memories drop in day at Huntly on 11 June 2010.

John Boustead, Glenrigh, is the person on the extreme right holding the slasher. John says that he was on an exchange course to Glentress at around Feb 1952 and no other names are known at this stage apart from Bill Stoddart who is in the middle front row holding the stick.
