Strome Ferry

Image courtesy of Don MacLeman shows the Ferry crossing between North and South Strome in the days before the By-pass Bridge was built.

Interesting footnote is that Alex MacLeman (Don's father) had to use the Ferry to cross from South to North Strome and vice versa when he was in charge of the forests on both sides of crossing around 1950.
