Forestry Road, nr Glenmore Lodge

This is on the forestry road between Coylumbridge and Glenmore Lodge, near AlltnaGhabha, where the claypigeon shooting is now.

The Norwegian Timber Corps were active in this area during the war and tarmacced the road. By the early 1950s the Forestry Commission had ripped it up and widened it, more suitably for their purposes.
