Aerial Fertilising at top of Cloich Forest
The photographs are courtesy of Stuart Mitchell, Peebles area, who formerly worked at Glentress Forest.
A series of photographs of BEAS company spreading unground rock phosphate on the trees on top of Cloich Forest around 1973/74. The forest is located in the Cloich Hills area north west of Peebles.
This image shows the Lama SA-315B registration G-AZNI built in 1972 working on a hilltop site. This machine appears to have been a favourite work horse for the BEAS company (British Executive Air Services Ltd). The PDF shows another view.
Any details about the site and forest would be very welcome.
