House at Eshiels, Peebles

Image is provided courtesy of Ruth Robertson and shows the house at Lower Falla that George Robertson was allocated and probably initially rented from Board of Agriculture Scotland who had divided the surrounding area into around 14 small holdings mainly for returning WW1 service personnel.

This was the family home for a great many years and George built his sawmill here also. The attached photographs in the PDF show the changes to the building over the years.
