Machinery demo at Blackbushe Estate

Photograph is courtesy and copyright of Forestry Commission, Forest Research, Roslin, and provided with help from Glen Brearley. FR Photo number No A1873 taken by T K Wood.

Little information on this machine and operation other than one name ‘International Bulldozer’ demonstrating at Blackbushe , Edinburgh.

The machine is an International Tracked tractor with dozing blade attached demonstrating it scrub clearing abilities. Note the Boughton direct drive cable winch on the rear. The logo on the engine cowling may read as International 50TD but not certain.

Can anyone confirm?

The 50TD number is correct, but it is a David Brown 50TD six-cylinder crawler.

The dozer attachment is interesting, possibly a Blaw-Knox, but the badge is not the B-K diamond. David Brown built their own blades, but the cylinders were mounted inboard of the track frames.
