Fort William Pulp Mill – chipping

The two debarking machines (left and right) each with their loading ramps. The logs thereafter passed to the chippers from which the chips were blown through various pipes (seen in back ground) onto at least two large piles of woodchips. The piles were used in rotation for the pulp making process.
