Forester’s Certificate 1945 – Arthur Bell

The photograph is courtesy of Sheena Bell, Dundee, daughter of Arthur M Bell from Northern Ireland who was a student at Benmore now confirmed as from 1943 to 1945.

Note on the certificate the School is named as Bemore Forest School and regarded as a School for Forest Apprentices. The PDF shows the Certificate in larger format and it can be seen that Arthur achieved 79% and was the Gold Medal Student for that year group. The PDF also includes the Royal Scottish Forestry Society’s Junior and Senior Certificates awarded to Arthur and also his Home Guard proficiency certificate for general Knowledge, rifle, grenade and Sten gun.
