Radio Mast and Hill Top Base

Thanks to Bill Irvine of Radio and Electronics Branch of FC at Dunkeld for passing this photograph on.

Bill thinks this could be a radio hill mast base at Glentrool.

Your help needed to identify the kilted gentleman, location and year!

Bill Irvine is correct in identifying the radio base station as that on a hilltop (Black Bennan was the local name for this site) in Glentrool Forest. I was instrumental in getting this hilltop site installed. I have no idea who the kilted gentleman is, he was probably a hill walker.
