Planting in Strathbran part Achnashellach Forest

The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and some are now shown on this web site although the whole forestry collection is now in Aberdeen University library archives.
Planting Lodgepole pine on tine ploughing in Strathbran part of Achnashellach Forest. This is one of a sequence of images shown earlier in the Forestry Memories data base around Picture No 1507

Thanks to information from Chris MacDonald the planters are Derek MacKenzie with the blue planting bag and Brian Green with the red one. Location is above Achanalt in Strathbran.
