Lining out hardwoods circa 1952

Photograph courtesy of Freida Murray, Buckie, daughter of Robert Allison who was Forester in charge at Speymouth Forest from 1950 to 1973.

No information on this photograph but thought to be Speymouth forest workers lining out broadleaved trees in the local forest nursery at Fochabers. The men are using long lining out boards and hand digging them in during fairly wet conditions.

Does anyone recognise the men and the location of the nursery which was relatively small at only around three acres and closed about 1954?
