Aerial Fertilising with Cessna aircraft G - AXFF

Photograph courtesy of Roy Neish who is in the aircraft seat.
This is the same aircraft as used in Sunart forest but possibly a year or so earlier. The intergral bin in front of the aircraft was loaded by hand with 56lb bags of unground rock phosphate to a point at which the pilot was confident of successful take off - depended on wind strength, direction and grass field condition. As in Sunart the pilot hopped over a wall mid way down the landing field when taking off with a full load.
Note the bags of fertiliser lying behind the aircraft - Clashindarroch Forest.
