Oxencraig lintel quarry – Bennachie Forest

The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many photographs in his forestry career and some are now shown on this web site. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.

A nice view of the old lintel quarry above Oyne and also of Tillymorgan Hill in the distance. Some old abondoned lintels can be seen tucked in the bottom of the face on the right hand side. The forest walk route from Back o'Bennachie to top of Bennachie passes close by.
