Ploughing Corrydown in Clashindarroch Forest

Picture courtesy of the family of the late Davy Anderson, former chief Forester. Another record of ploughing in Clashindarroch in 1935 with forester Johnston Edwards, tractor driver Cruickshank on the Caterpillar 28 and helper MacConnachie or Connachie. Further details on these people would be very welcome. This picture shows one furrow from the Oliver? plough lying on top of an unploughed strip and the second lying against the edge of the unploughed strip thus covering the ground more quickly than complete ploughing.
Picture Added on 15 April 2007.
